Dreams and racing thought, mostly, compel me to write. I’m inspired by nature, science, and the love of family that I see all around me.

Do you have a new book in the works?

I’m currently working on a novel about gene therapy gone awry. I also have a dozen short stories I’m pulling together for a new collection about how individual points of view shape our experiences.

When did you publish your first stories?

In 2011 I independently published my first collection of 14 fictional short stories, “Death and the Dream.”

Why is writing our stories so important now?

Sharing our own lived experiences is the very best activism in challenging times.
