Perpetuate Peace, Good Will, Understanding among Nations -Veterans Day

I ask myself the question every year on Veterans Day. What does it mean to me that my father had been a soldier in World War II? It is a day of reflection for me. But really, I ask the question not only on that day, but on Memorial Day and many other days in between I think. I ask what that experience did to him and what it did in turn, to us, his family.
